I won a giveaway on Emtalks!

Hello ma'lovelys, hope you are all well :) This is a post to say huge thank you to Em from Emalks.co.uk and Wonderbra for the wonderful giveaway!

I have been reading Em's blog for a while now; even before I, myself started blogging. Her blog is one of those blogs that you just can't get enough of. Em writes such lovely and different posts about all things fashion and beauty, and she always writes her own personal opinions for her reviews. I saw that Em was holding a giveaway on her blog for National Cleavage day. Em had partnered up with Wonderbra and they were giving away a bra to one of  Em's lucky viewers. You can read how Em got involved with Wonderbra on her blog here!

So anyways, when I saw that Em had written this post I was instantly intrigued. When it comes down to bras, I need all the help I can get with my small boobs. Its a sensitive subject to talk about for me, as I have difficulties with my small boobs and am on the waiting list at the breast clinic.  I was so excited to enter the giveaway, and did so immediately. A few weeks went past, and to be honest I had actually forgotten about it, until Em tweeted; stating that I had won her giveaway. I was in college at the time, and started screaming "I've won a bra, I've won a bra!". The amount of weird looks I got haha.

Em was very efficient with collecting my details and getting in contact with Wonderbra. My bra arrived and I was so excited to try it on. Wonderbra sent me a cute note along with the bra, congratulating me on my win. The bra is gorgeous and fits perfectly, I am so happy.

A big thank you once again to Em! <3

Colourful and different!

Hello ma'lovelys, hope you are all well :)
Todays post is a colourful and different makeup look that I created using my darling gorgeous sister Annabelle as my model.

I started with a base of Estee Lauders Primer to give a nice smooth surface to work with. The foundation I used was Rimmel London's Wake Me Up Foundation, as I wanted a dewy kind of look. I used a Real Techniques Stippling brush to buff it into the skin. I then contoured using FCUK's bronzing powder. For the cheeks I used an old pink and light Estee Lauder blusher. To set I used Rimmel London's Stay Matte Perfection powder and the Real Techniques Powder brush. I then moved on to the eyes.

I used the 12 Shade Poptastic Palette by MUA. I chose the turquoise blue, bright yellow, and shocking pink colours for this look. I started by creating a side ways V shape on the outer corner of the eye with the turquoise blue. I then added a tiny amount of the shocking pink to the inside of the V shape. Once I had done this, I defined the V shape with a darker blue. For the rest of the lid I applied the bright yellow and blended it in with the other colours. I  then applied a tiny bit of highlight underneath the brow bow.

I then filled in the eyebrows with the matte brown from the 12 Shade Undressed Palette and added the Maybelline The Falsies to the lashes. Lastly I added the Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 113.

New eyeliner review! and cat update.

Hello ma'lovelys, hope we are all well :) Sorry again for not posting recently, my cat was in an accident and I  have been worried sick the past couple of days. She is stable now but has to go back to the vets for her operation on Monday.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moving swiftly on to today's post. This is my review of my new 'Collection 2000 - Fast Stroke' eyeliner.
(Sorry for bad lighting)
This has been my first proper liquid liner since I have started blogging. As my skills and knowledge has developed through the years, I have been able to move on from pencil, felt tip,and gel, and now finally on to liquid.
I really like this eyeliner, it is so easy to use and the pigmentation is amazing. You are able to have full control over the applicator and can create many different looks using thin and thicker strokes. I love how you are able to erase any mistakes quickly and efficiently using a cotton bud before the liner is set; but when it is dry, it does not budge. The only downfall is that it does flake a tiny bit when rubbing eyes and taking make up off, but this is expected like most liquid liners, however for the price you cannot really complain for tiny flakes when its only £2.99 from Superdrug.
How to make Spaghetti Carbonara & Focaccia Bread!
Hello ma'lovelys, todays post is going to be about cooking! I had a down moment during the week as my numbers of followers had gone down, and had no comments on my last two posts. So I had thoughts about not carrying on with my blog, because nobody was interested. However I tweeted about it, and some lovely ladies Kirsty, Melissa and Ellie encouraged me and told me not to give up - which was really sweet of them. Ellie also gave me inspiration to do more posts about cooking as its great for people our age to learn recipes for the future.
Todays cookery lesson - Spaghetti Carbonara & Focaccia Bread!
We'll start with the Focaccia Bread. Grab a mixing bowl and add warm water, sugar and yeast and mix with a spoon.
Measurements I used:
1/4 pint of warm water
Tsp of sugar
Tbsp of yeast
Leave the bowl in a warm area for it to rise. While that is happening, in another bowl add self raising flour, salt and lard (or oil). Using your fingers gentle rub in the lard to the flour.
Measurements I used:
650g self raising flour
Tsp salt
25g lard
Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture, add a drop more water and a splash of oil and stir in circular motions.
WARNING - next bit is messy!
Sprinkle flour onto a work surface and tip out the dough.
Start working the dough by using the kneading technique.
Kneading technique.
Pull, stretch, fold, push.
The dough should form into a rounded shape; place this back in the bowl with oiled cling film on top, and place back in warm area for 10 mins.
After letting the dough prove, take it out onto the floured work surface again and knead a few times., After the kneading use a rolling pin to roll it out into a rounded square.
 Place it onto a floured tray and use your finger tips to make slight holes all over the dough.
Add a bit of rosemary to each hole and then sweep some oil over the top.
Put it into the oven at 230 degrees and cook for 15 - 20 mins (until golden brown).
When it is ready, take it out. Add another sweep of oil all over and add a sprinkle of sea salt.
Now for Spaghetti Carbonara .
Add water and a pinch of salt into a saucepan and boil.
Prepare the meat. Cook bacon if that's what your using, for mine I just used some cold cooked ham.
Add spaghetti to the saucepan of boiling water, and let it simmer until al dente (or soft which ever you prefer).
While that is cooking add 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk into a bowl, and whisk.
Add a drop of cream and some cheese and mix this all together.
Drain the spaghetti into a strainer and pour the Carbonara sauce into the saucepan.
Add the meat and stir through, then add the spaghetti back in and stir again.
Pour into a serving bowl or directly into bowls and top it off with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese.
So there we go ma'lovelys, hope you enjoyed learning to cook with me :)
Feel free to leave a comment!
Thanks again to the wonderful Ellie, Kirsty and Melissa!
