#BritishBloggerSelection Week 4 - Favourite Makeup Brand!

For me personally I cannot really choose just one favourite makeup brand.
There are so many to choose from and they are all so different.

However I do have a couple of stand out brands that I love.

High-End Brands

MAC
I haven't been using this brand long but they have some really great products. I love their Foundations and their eyeshadows are also good. My favourite makeup product from MAC has to be their lipsticks though. Beautiful formulations and a great range of finishes. They have a huge selection of shades to choose from, so there will be a perfect one to suit everybody.

Urban Decay
Again, it is only recently that I have tried their products and of course it was one of the eyshadow palettes. I brought the Naked 2 palette, and OhMyGosh I wish I had brought it sooner. The eyeshadow formulation is incredible, the pigmentation is high and they have such gorgeous colours.

Bobbi Brown
Bobbi Brown have a great range of face products, from concealers to foundations and blushers and bronzers. They have different of types of foundations, which are suitable for all skin types and have different finish. They are also well known for having good high SPF factors in all their products.

Drugstore Brands

Rimmel
In my opinion Rimmel do the best lip products available on the highstreet, with different finishes available and a huge range of shades, they really are great if you are on a budget. I also think they offer some fab eye products.

No7
I love No7 foundations. Similar to Bobbi Brown they have a range of different products for all skin types and they come in a good selection of shades.

Bourjois
From Bourjois I love their face products. They have a good range of foundations but it is the bronzers and blushers that are my favourite, especially their cream blush.

Maxfactor
For me without a doubt Maxfactor offer the best Mascara's. They have different mascara's to do different things, such as lengthening volumizing. My favourites are the False Lash Effect - Fusion Mascara and Clump Defy - Volumising Mascara. I also love their Miracle Touch Creamy Blusher.

Maybelline
I think that Maybelline is a great all round brand, they have great foundations and some nice blushers. They have some brilliant eye products such as the EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadows and Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner & they have some lovely lip products such as Baby Lips and Color Sensational Vivids Lipsticks.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite makeup brands.

Feel free to leave a comment below, I would love to know what your favourite makeup brands are.

Shopping with Mum & Boyfriend - Haul!

Yesterday I went on a little shopping trip with My mum and My boyfriend.

Primark was the main shop on the agenda but I did make a cheeky stop in Boots and Debenhams.

Upon entering Primark I had kind of an idea of what I wanted to buy and on that list were a pair of gloves. Now that the colder weather has started to kick in, I felt the need to get a couple of pairs.
I ended up buying this pack of two, where you can wear both pairs singularly or wear them together.

After seeing many Primark haul posts and videos, I knew that I had to try and find the tartan scarf. Every person that had brought the scarf had said, that it was really hard to find and that they had to scrounge around hunting for it. Heading into the middle section of Primark I was prepared to do this, but straight away I saw a couple of rails of the gorgeous scarfs. I am so pleased I got this and have a feeling it is going to be a winter essential of mine.

A new pair of jeans were also on the list of things to get. Jeans are always hard to get right for me, I have mahoosive bum but I am petite in size, so the length needs to fit. I managed to find these jeans, I love the style and shade of them.

I wasn't really planning on getting a new top, but I saw this and couldn't resist - I love daisy's!

A new hoodie and jumper.
I own loads of these style hoodie's and jumper as I always get cold but I saw both of these and thought you can never have too many and shoved them in my basket.

OhMyGosh these leggings are super cute! The little reindeer, and oh it just made me feel so christmassy.

We then popped into boots, as the boyfriend needed some face scrub. While in there, I saw the Vaseline Spray & Go moisturizer. I had heard quite good reviews about this so decided to pick it up.

I finally brought this little beauty!
Urban Decay Naked 2

We were heading through Debenhams to get to the car park when I decided we had to stop at the Urban Decay counter to have a look. After a long period of time of looking at both the Naked 1 & 2 and trying to decided whether to buy one now or wait until Christmas, I made the decision to buy the Naked 2.

I am so pleased that I finally picked this up, I haven't used it yet but I keep admiring it thinking how gorgeous all the shades are.

I hope you all enjoyed this haul post. I would love it if you would leave me a comment below :)

#TheWinterProject - Favourite Winter nail polish!

#TheWinterProject - Favourite Winter nail polish!

I rarely wear nail polish.
It's not that I don't like it, because I do; I love pretty nails. I think it is more of the fact I am no good at painting them and I have no patience at all when it come to letting them dry.

I am currently studying part-time Makeup and Manicure so the practice I am getting is really helping.

I don't own that many nail polishes, so after doing some research and popping in to my local boots store, I have found some polishes which I would love to try for the Winter season and Christmas.

This shade is gorgeous, I love the way all the colours blend together and I especially like how the colour looks in different perspectives of light.

This is a blue grey shade, it is in between a dark sapphire and a deep graphite. It looks so sleek and I think it would look flattering with most skin tones.

I absolutely adore this shade; it is a dark grape, deep plum colour and I think it is perfect for the Winter season. Although most people tend to wear berry colours in the Autumn I think it would look great matching a khaki coloured coat or even with that little black dress.

This polish is a beautiful deep red, almost burgundy. This shade just makes me feel all christmassy and I think it would match a lot of my Winter outfits.

Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Perseid and Fusion - £14.50
Oh My Gosh these polishes look amazing! First off Perseid looks like the galaxy. It is a black polish with loads of different shaped textured glitter particles combined. Secondly Fusion is a gorgeous intense gold glitter polish. The glitter particles are much smaller than the ones in Perseid and are not textured.
I think both these shades would be perfect for Christmas and New Year.

I hope you like the nail polishes I have chosen. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the shades.

I also hope you liked my first post in #TheWinterProject series.

Introduction to #BritishBloggerSelection and Q&A interview!

I am taking part in the #BritishBloggerSelection.

Ellie from Little Vintage Camera has organised a chance for all British Bloggers to join together and write posts about a new topic each week. Basically it is a way to connect bloggers with others that you normally might not have come across.

This is what Ellie says:

#BritishBloggerSelection is a group of British bloggers.
It does not  matter what your blog is about, it could be a lifestyle blog, a cooking blog, a fashion blog, beauty blog, you just have to be British!

If you participate in #BritishBloggerSelection, you’ll get more blog traffic and become friends with bloggers you probably didn't even know existed!

How this works: Each week on Saturday I’ll send you a theme to blog about and from there you blog about whatever you want related to that theme! You don’t have to participate in this every week, just participate when you feel ready! No one’s forcing you to do it every week!

If you want to get involved contact Ellie with your blog URL, blog name and your first and last name.

About You Q&A/Interview

Question One: Why do you like blogging?
I like blogging because I can express my love for everything beauty. Blogging is my hobby and gives me something to do in my spare time. It is also a platform for me to start my career as a free lance makeup artist.

Question Two: How did you come up with your blog name?
This was difficult, originally I started a blog called Char_Beyy as that was my nickname. I decided to change the blog name to Little Miss C because I felt it sounded and looked better. I am still toying with blog names as I want to use my blog to showcase my business.

Question Three: Where from the UK do you come from?
Originally, I lived in Newburry but I moved to Wales when I was 4½  and now live in Pembrey.

Question Four: Favourite colour?
My favourite colour changes all the time! At the moment it is Orange.

Question Five: Do you like Lana Del Ray?
Who?! I think I have heard some of her songs.
Just googled her, yes I like her music.

Question Six: Hidden Talents That You Have?
Talents - paaah! um i'm double jointed in both hands?

Question Seven: Celebrity Crush?
Male: Too many! Jensen Ackles
Female: Michelle Keegan

Question Eight: Favourite Blog Of All Time?
Such a tough question.
Probably Viviana Does Makeup. I would of said Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter Fleur De Force and Tanya Burr but I prefer their YouTube channels.

Question Nine: What made you want to join #BritishBloggerSelection?
I thought it would be a great opportunity to connect with new blogs other than the beauty, lifestyle and fashion ones. I think it is a great idea that we all get to connect and see other people's perspectives on different topics.

I hope you all like this post, feel free to comment below and if you feel this is something you would like to be a part of, don't forget to contact Ellie :)

Clinique giveaway prize & Chubby Stick Intense Review!

As some of you may know I won a Clinique Giveaway.
The wonderful Dave Lackie - Editor of BEAUTY the guide & Cityline beauty correspondent, holds giveaways on twitter and it just so happened that I entered one of them.

The prize included some Clinique goodies:
Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+
All About Shadow Quad - 05 On Safari
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense - Heftiest Hibiscus & Mightiest Maraschino

One evening I kept getting notifications on my phone from twitter, saying that people kept tweeting me. I logged in to my account only to see that everyone was congratulating me for winning Dave's Clinique giveaway. I scrolled down some more, and saw Dave had tweeted me to say I had won. I excitedly DM'd him my details and a couple of days later, the prize arrived at my door.

My Review of the Clinique Chubby Sticks Intense
Shades: Heftiest Hibiscus & Mightiest Maraschino

Clinique Chubby Sticks come in two forms: Chubby Sticks for Eyes and Chubby Sticks for Lips.
The original chubby sticks for lips are gorgeous, so moisturizing but the colour is quite sheer.
Clinique decided to bring out a new version of the Chubby Sticks called Chubby Sticks Intense.

These two Chubby Sticks Intense are my favourite lip products at the moment, and I can't wait to get some more shades from the range. The Chubby Sticks Intense are in-between a lipstick and lip-balm, while still being super moisturizing the colour pay off is great and I love that it is glossy.
These chubby sticks are the best way for me to experiment with colours and they have helped me be more daring and wear brighter colours.
