A bit of a update..

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. So today I thought I would give you a little bit of an update, I didn't have a lot of time to write today's post, I've been out all day, so I am just going to tell you what's going on in my life at the moment.

Well first off, sorry for the lack of beauty related posts. Been so busy with the lead up to Christmas and been such in the festive spirit I wanted to share it with you all. I promise a lot more beauty posts in the new year.

Secondly, it is nearly Christmas! I am so excited it is unbelievable. Christmas is my favourite time of year, I love the whole leading up to it, decorations, the food, and I just love spending time with my family.

Today was my works Christmas meal. It was really lovely see all the Advisers being themselves and VERY drunk might I add! I didn't stay long, as I didn't really want to be with a loud of rowdy old men all night, haha. However I did have such a lovely day with my mum. We went shopping together before and after the meal, and it was nice to spend some time together just the two of us.

On Sunday my dad is picking my Grandma up and she is coming for Christmas, so I cannot wait to see her! Also I think we might be going to be doing Caroling by Candlelight which should be nice.
Monday is my last day in work until the New Year, just tying up loose ends and making sure everything's done before Christmas.

Then IT'S CHRISTMAS! Christmas eve will be fab, still organizing stuff for that day but I can't wait. And of course Christmas day will be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

So that's it for now, but I am hoping to do this sort of post regularly just to keep you update with what I am getting up to :)

#TheWinterProject - Favourite products for a Christmas make up look!

Favourite products for a Christmas make up look!

As I now have the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, I will definetly be using the shadows from that for my Christmassy makeup looks. I will probably use the shades Half Baked, Chopper and Snakebite and maybe a little bit of Busted in the outer V. I think I would apply a base of Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade On & On Bronze. Lining the top of my eye with my Supercat S&G eyeliner, creating a feline flick and adding a little black eyeliner on the bottom waterline with a tiny amount of snakebite underneath.
I will most likely go for a pinky lip for day time, MAC Vegas Volt. Then a bright red lip for nighttime, Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Lipstick in the shade 01.

I will be doing a makeup Christmas tutorial soon, so look out for that :)

Yet another shopping haul...

Yes I am obsessed, I went shopping again.

Every time I see something that I like I think;
'Ooooh that's nice, I must have that'
and then buy it.
Here's what I brought this time..

The Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner is fab. It has a great nib not too thick or too small, it is jet black and is really easy to apply.
I haven't really used the Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer much to give an opinion on it yet, but so far I love the two different shades.
I can now see what all the fuss was about, when these Maybelline Colour Tattoo's were first released everyone was raving about them. I really love the formulation, quick to apply and a gorgeous color.
I used to hate painting my nails, now I love switching up the colours. Essie nail polishes are easy to apply and really long lasting. I have especially been loving 'Shearling Darling'.
Cosmopolitan magazines are always great, it was lovely to read while relaxing in the bath.
As I said in my Christmas tags, the Santa Clause movie is one of my favourite Christmas films, so I decided to buy the 3 in 1 DVD of the Santa Clause movies.
I LOVE Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers, they are delicious and I could just go through boxes and boxes of these.
I own quite a few different dry shampoo's and I saw this Batiste one, for dark brown hair and decided to give it a try. It also claims to banish oil and give a boost of volume, so we will see how it goes.
I was in need of some new big cotton pads so I decided to pick up these oval ones from Morrison's.
I finally got my hands on this gorgeous Crown Brush Concealer Palette! I have been wanting to get this for ages but it has always been out of stock and I have been waiting for months for it come back in. So I was super excited on Thursday when I saw Crown Brush Instagramed that it was back in stock, I went straight onto the website to order it. Later that evening it become out of stock again. So If you are wanting it, keep your eyes peeled on Crown Brush twitter, instagram or facebook. I cannot wait to try this out and will be doing a review very soon!

I hope you liked what I brought, feel free to leave a comment below :)

Second week of December Advent Calendar!

So it's that time of the week again, where I show you what I received behind each door of my Boots Beauty Advent Calendar.

Behind door No 9

Behind door No 10

Behind door No 11

Behind door No 12

Behind door No 13

Behind door No 14

Behind door No 15

My Opinions:
I love the colour of the bright pink nail polish, and cannot wait to try it out. The other two nail related products were a Top Coat and Base Coat.
I am beginning to get a little 'cheesed' off with getting mini perfume samples. As in the last post I stated that you can get samples of perfume for free. I am disappointed and feel like this Advent Calendar was not worth the money. I feel I could have perhaps spent a little bit more on another beauty advent calendar and got some nicer products. I'm very pleased with today's product though, I have tried this eyeliner before and really love it but needed a new one so it was welcomed with open arms into my makeup bag.

So that's this weeks round up, I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you want to keep updated with what I receive everyday, follow me on Instagram @char_beyy for pictures.

Additional Christmas TAG!

The lovely Louise from Confessions of a Secret Shopper tagged me to do this Christmas tag, as I have already done a Christmas TAG (see post here) I thought I would do this in addition to that.

1. What is your favourite Christmas song?
I answered this in my first Christmas TAG. I would have to say along with 'Merry Christmas Everybody', 'Santa clause is coming to town', 'Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas' and 'Santa baby', 'All I want for Christmas' is also one of my favourites.

2. Which is your favourite festive drink?
I also answered this is in my first TAG, it would have to be hot chocolate.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas film?
Again I answered this in my first TAG, Miracle on 34th Street annd The Santa Clause are my favourites. However after seeing Elf for the first time the other day it is shooting up my favourites list to meet this two.

4. What is at the top of your Christmas wish-list this year?
At the top of my list is makeup, so I can build up my professional makeup kit. Sigma brushes and Urban Decay Naked 1 & 3 are at the top for makeup. I also would like a few clothes and money to buy furniture for my bedroom.

5. What is your favourite festive makeup or nail art look?
For makeup, as I said in my previous tag post it would be all about the gold and bronze tones for eyes and red or berry lips.
As for nails I am loving my Essie Shearling Darling Nail Polish

6. What is your favourite outfit at Christmas time? (LBD? Christmas jumper? PJ's?)
I have been loving wearing my green parka, tartan scarf, red gloves and stripy bobble hat recently. Also my reindeer leggings, so cute and festive!

7. Would you rather play out in the snow or enjoy it from inside with the fire and a cuppa?
I love playing in the snow and I think it's so pretty, but I do struggle as I have
Urticaria, which is basically a cold rash.

8. Wrapping presents - love or loathe?
I love wrapping presents, for some reason I find it very therapeutic.

9. What is your favourite Christmassy food?
The full whack of Christmas dinner and loads of Chocolate.

10. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
Spending time with family, it is the whole Christmas spirit which makes it so special at this time of year. Also seeing the faces of loved ones when opening presents.

I TAG the following two lovely ladies:

Kate from Kate Spitz
Lottie from Love Beauty and Spa

A big thank you to Louise for tagging me!
I hope you liked this extra TAG, feel free to leave me a comment below :)
