Beauty purchases of the day!

Hello ma'lovelys, in this post I am going to be talking about the few products I brought today from boots, before my date with my lovely Chris.

As Chris and I finished college early we decided to head into town for a lunch date. On our way there I decided I needed to grab a few beauty products from boots.

The first on my list was some shampoo and conditioner. I brought the TRESemmé Luxurious Moisturising shampoo and conditioner set as my hair needs lots of TLC to keep it healthy and growing, as my hair has been through a lot of dying and styling.

The next product I needed to get was some strong holding hair spray. I just love this hair spray it is the 'got2b misting freeze spray' from Schwarzkopf. This is a great strong holding spray and is like mist, hence the title and doesn't leave your hair feeling weighed down.

This next product I was recommended to get by my gorgeous cousin Sophie. It is a way of exfoliating your skin along side using a face scrub once a week. You apply warm water to the sponge and a squirt of your favourite face wash and then gently rub it around your face in circular motions. You then splash water onto your face to get rid of excess face wash and dab your face dry with a towel. You can then moisturise.

I used this tonight and it definitely left my face feeling lovely and smooth. I will do a full review of this product soon.

The last product I brought is this EyeStudio Master Shape Brow Pencil from Maybelline. I had been using the Superfine Liner for brows from Clinique, it was a great product and really defined my eyebrows, however it would run out really easily and it cost £13.00 which I feel is a tad expensive for an eyebrow pencil.
I have not used the EyeStudio Master Shape Brow Pencil yet but I will do a full review soon.

After getting these purchases Chris and I had a gorgeous meal in our local Italian restaurant 'Atalia'

Hope you enjoyed today's post, I will do another one soon. Feel free to comment and follow :)

A little shopping trip!

Hello ma'lovely's, in my post today I will be showing you a few items I purchased on my little shopping trip that I had with my sister and boyfriend.

After a sleepless night I managed to drag myself out of bed, and look at least half decent in my million layers of clothes and wellies. As you can imagine it was freezing outside with all this snow we have been having, so I made sure I wrapped up warm. Annabelle and I caught a bus to town and while waiting for my boyfriend Chris to arrive we popped into Peacocks. 'Peacocks?' you may ask, yes I thought they had gone bust too.
There wasn't much in there, and nothing that really inspired me.

We then met up with Chris and walked around town. We went into Boots and Annabelle brought a few beauty products. After that there was only one problem there was no more shops! Not only were the shops shut because it was a Sunday  but MOST of them had closed down. Oh well, we decided to pop into Nandos for lunch.

It was the first time any of us had been to Nandos and it was quite an experience. Deciding he would be daring, Chris had chicken wings with extra hot sauce. BIG mistake. Woooh it burned my mouth off when I tried some. Chris admitted it was hot, but still managed to eat it all! After a lovely meal, we headed for the out of town shopping centre.

Once there we popped into a few shops; River Island & Outfit. Unfortunately, I did not find anything I really liked, unusual for me as I normally find loads.

Next we headed to Animal. I found  this amazing bag for only £15, I think it is a great bargain considering you could get this style bag in other shops for a much higher price. It is an aztec design bag and has three pockets.

New look was next on the shopping trip. I managed to find two items I really liked. First is just a black cami top for £2.49, I will wear this underneath my chiffon blouses.

The other item is this gorgeous cream blouse. It has roll up sleeves and tiny box presents all over for detail. I found this beauty in the sale for only £10.

So there we go, I hope you enjoyed reading about my little shopping trip. If you have any questions or comments feel free to leave them below.

New Outfit and Makeup Look!

Hello ma'lovelys :) In today's post I will be showing you my new outfit and makeup look, that I had on today.

I was wearing my new top 'Peppermint' from TKMaxx . It is a chiffon material with a bird pattern all over and it has studs on the sleeves and collar.

I wore this top with my 'Allure Fashion' black leggings and my 'Generation' black sued heels from New Look.

This is my eye makeup that I wore with this outfit. It is a three tone eye shadow look. I used a silver, purple and black shadow that all have pigments of glitter in. I finished it off with my 'Maybeline' eye studio Eyeliner and my Clinique mascara.

I used the eye shadows from my 'Limited Collection' - Get The Look Smoky Eyes.

Review of firming lotions!

Hello ma'lovelys :) In my post today I will be doing a review about firming lotions, a few that I have tested out myself.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula – Firming Butter

This products includes: Shea Butter, Collagen, Elastin & Vitamin E.
I first started using this product when I had a dramatic weight loss from 13 to 9 1/2 stone. As most of my fat had melted away I was left with saggy skin. I had heard about this product from many beauty reviews and thought I would give it a try to tighten up my skin. This is a cream like product which you should rub in firmly to the problem area every night. After using this product on my thighs, bum and stomach for a month I definitely felt a difference in my skin. My skin was much firmer and felt incredibly smooth. I recommend trying out this product if you like a thick cream, which will tighten the skin, over a long period of time.

Daly Spa – Tums and Bums Silhouette Smoother by Tess Daly.

I received this product as a gift, and started using it straight away as I love to try out new products and see if they work. I was a bit sceptical at first because it was a celebrity based product, however after using this cream for a month I could see a slight difference. It advises to smooth the cream over your skin using sweeping strokes, and do not rub in too vigorously. My skin was definitely smoother and as it is infused with almond oils it gives a real shimmer to your skin. I would say you could use this product as a normal moisturiser with a shiny glow and also as a toning cream.

Nip + Fab Tummy Fix – Daily ‘Ab’ Gel.

I started using this product to test out how good the formula would work. This product claims to improve skin tone and texture around the abdominal area.

The product says it uses:
- Amarashape to sculpt and promote elasticity
- Bitter orange to smooth and make skin appear firmer
- Lecithin to soften and hydrate.

This is a serum based product which you should apply on clean skin in circular movements twice a day for visible results. I loved the fact that this was a serum as it was easier to rub into my skin and sunk in a lot better than the creams. After only a few applications of this product, I could see noticeable results in my skin, it felt firmer and a lot smoother. I would definitely recommend using this product and will be purchasing some more of it soon.

This next product is not a firming lotion, it is a brilliant hand cream that I love and just had to share with you!

Soap & Glory – Hand Food – Hydrating hand cream.

This is one of my favourite products at the moment, I apply this cream to my hands as often as I need, just to keep my hands hydrated, especially in this cold weather. Another reason why I love this product is because it smells gorgeous (I could eat it, hehe).

Hope you enjoyed my review on these products and If you have any questions feel free to ask away in the comment section below :)
